Originally constructed in 1946, the building at 706 North Clinton Street was developed by the National Biscuit Company (Nabisco) as a bakery facility. It produced a range of baked goods under the Millbrook brand, including bread, rolls, and donuts.

Today, the space represents a thoughtful blend of preservation and progress. As part of a full-scale interior renovation of this 1930s/40s-era, single-story structure, a mezzanine was added to create a dynamic two-story environment in select areas. After the bakery closed in 1985, the building sat idle for three decades—until April 2015, when it was reimagined as the headquarters of OneGroup and OneGroup Retirement Advisors, exemplifying sustainability through adaptive reuse.
