"My favorite part of the job is still meeting with our customers."

I am a native Central New Yorker who returned to the area to join our firm in 2013. Prior to that, I lived in Denver, CO and Hartford, CT following my graduation from Providence College in Rhode Island. Although I enjoy visiting friends in all of the cities I’ve previously called home, I am grateful to be working back in Syracuse. I have long had an interest in investing. I started my first investment account in high school and pretty quickly I was hooked. Knowing that I wanted to pursue a career in either finance or financial services, I earned degrees in Finance and Economics. But like so many things in life, to be a good investor, you must strive to better yourself every day, be humble and learn from your mistakes. I try to carry that approach over to all my duties at OneGroup Retirement Advisors. I feel fortunate to be one of the people that can honestly say they get tremendous joy from their job and the duties I perform on my team. From overseeing the firm’s Investment Committee, to helping customers to identify investment goals and responsibly work towards them, I feel fulfilled that the work we do helps others.

Although I do a lot of analytical work on the team, my favorite part of the job is still meeting with our customers; to catch up with them personally, hear about their families and make sure that we are doing our very best for them. When I am not in the office, I am probably spending time with my family. I thank my Parents for teaching me and my siblings that family is paramount and worth the sacrifice. Their example has definitely helped me to be better at my job and to find happiness in life. Together we enjoy wetting a fishing line or two, growing fruits and vegetables in the summer and getting frustrated watching NY sports teams (no specific names mentioned here).
